Heavy-Duty CNC Lathe Solution for Large-Diameter Oilfield Pipe Processing in Russia

Client Background:

Russian heavy machinery manufacturer specializing in large-diameter pipe joints, oilfield equipment, and industrial rollers. They required a lathe with large spindle bore and heavy-duty cutting rigidity.

Solution:

We supplied the QK1322 large-bore CNC lathe with 220mm spindle through-hole diameter, meeting their need for through-bar processing. The machine offers 800mm swing over bed, up to 2850mm machining length, and an 11kW main motor with high torque output. The dual-chuck design ensures stability when machining long slender pipes.

Implementation:

The client visited our factory with typical pipe samples for trial cutting, focusing on internal bore accuracy and end face perpendicularity. All test results met their requirements, and the client confirmed acceptance on site.

Results:

Both pipe ends are machined in a single setup, improving efficiency by 35%. The client has since placed repeat orders for two additional units.
